I believe it's a 9/16" or 5/8" bolt. Should be on the passenger side about half way up or down on the transmission. You'll see a support arm from the tube go to it. Simply remove that bolt.

Web19 mrt. 2013 · When replacing the old dipstick tube there is an O-ring on the the bottom, about 1 inch up from the end. Use some RTV sealant on that O-ring before installing it back onto the transmission. I also find that it helps to place the new tube in the freezer until you are ready to install it. Web25 jun. 2008 · The best thing to do is get a viton o-ring or one that will take heat then clean both parts first and mix up a small amount of JBweld around the tube and then wipe off the excess.
